Teachers' bonuses are set to increase by GEL 100 from 2021. Deputy Minister of Education Ekaterine Dgebuadze said that economic challenges do not stop them from pursuing their top priority, which is ensuring citizens' wellbeing.
In the deputy minister's words, from January of the next year, senior teachers working 15 hours a week, teachers with high-level practice in teaching, and mentor teachers will receive extra payment of GEL 100. Those who do not work at least 15 hours a week will also get GEL 100 benefits in accordance with a predetermined procedure.
