The students of the Technical University have been on a hunger strike for the second day. They are demanding the resignation of the rector.
As the students say, the protest will not end and will continue until their demand is met.
"The rector of the university has been convicted four times with very severe articles. He announced the alienation of buildings from the day he got the position and will do the same when it comes to other buildings, which will lead to the death of several faculties. The protest will continue until the Minister of Education decides to meet us. We will not go anywhere; we will starve and stay in this area," said Giorgi Eristavi, one of the students at the Technical University.
