The death toll from Covid-19 in Georgia has exceeded 10,000. US Ambassador Kelly Degnan expressed her condolences to the families and relatives of the patients who died during the pandemic.
She said it was important to focus more on Covid management in the future.
"The number of deaths by covid in Georgia has exceeded 10,000. This is really a very tragic event, especially for the families and people who lost their loved ones. This is unfavorable for the country as well. Hopefully, after this election, more attention will be shifted to managing Covid and resolving this situation," Degnan said.
