The Roads Department of Georgia says that traffic has been banned from a road section of the highway due to heavy snow.
"Due to snow and low temperatures, trailers and semi-trailers have been banned from the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars road of international significance. Other vehicles are allowed," said the Roads Department.
