According to the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to snow and glaze, on the Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road of international importance, traffic of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited, while traffic is free for the rest of the vehicles.
According to the National Environment Agency, the traffic on Mleta-Gudauri (Posta), Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi, and Stepantsminda-Larsi sections will be carried out in a non-stop mode, and on the Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi only through the avalanche tunnels.
The movement will be carried out under the direct supervision and coordination of the patrol police.
