Against this background, the possibility of coronavirus cases increasing to 5,000 in Georgia in three weeks' time cannot be ruled out, according to Head of the Infectious Diseases Hospital Tengiz Tsertsvadze.
"Personally I think that several dozen cases per day will be recorded in Georgia, rather than several hundred or thousand, and we will have far more coronavirus patients than we have now; however, Georgia will not follow in the footsteps of the leading European countries," Tsertsvadze declared.
