The virus is spreading more quickly and, on top of that, is becoming more aggressive, according to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the Center for Disease Control and Public Health. In his words, the situation in our neighbouring countries is becoming more alarming. Against this backdrop, Georgia is faced with a better status quo; however, thirty infected in one day, as it was yesterday, is worth voicing concerns.
"Coronavirus cases have already been confirmed in social strata, and the only tool against it is social distancing. Stay at home before the vaccine is available. I am confident it will soon be developed," Gamkrelidze declared.
