The National Environment Agency publishes the forecast of the winter weather in Georgia.
"Based on the weather forecast for the 2020-2021 winter season prepared by the specialists from the countries of the South-Eastern European region, including Georgia, the average winter air temperature in Georgia is within the norm or 1 degree warmer than normal, and the amount of precipitation is expected to be within the standard.
According to the specialists, on some days of the winter season, it is possible to reduce the temperature at night in the lowlands of Western Georgia -4, -6; in mountainous areas, -8, -10; -11, -13 degrees in the high mountainous regions; -7, -9 in the lowlands of Eastern Georgia; in mountainous areas -11, -14; and -18, -20 degrees in high mountainous regions," the agency said in a statement.
