SOCAR continues to support the sports project Active Life is My Passion for people with disabilities. Organized by the Youth Media Connections, with the support of SOCAR and Europebet, a water-skiing activity took place at the Tbilisi Sea Club.
Twelve wounded servicemen, veterans, and paramedics took part in the event. The host of the event was Beer Company Zedazeni.
The first Georgian para-athlete Goga Kokhreidze created the adaptive equipment for water-skiing with his own hands, and the soldiers tested their strength in this sport for the first time. They said the activity turned out to be successful and adventurous and, despite the difficulties, left the participants with unforgettable emotions.
Next year, according to the mentioned construction, two lighter wheelchairs will be made, which can be used by all people with disabilities. In the future, the event organizers also plan to hold a tournament and increase the number of participants.
