A 55-year-old woman has died at one of the Batumi COVID-hotels.
As Adjara’s Health Ministry reports, the deceased was tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 23.
The ministry says she had no symptoms.
"On April 24, she was sent to one of the COVID hotels. On April 26, she was provided with all protocol-defined examinations. For the last three days, the patient had no symptoms. Her health condition was stable at 21:30 yesterday. Today, at noon, the death was detected. The authorities will study the fact and identify the death cause,’’ the ministry says.
