Young people lost in Gomi mountain have reached rescuers; however, rescuers cannot access the area where these people are at this point," the Bokhvauri village majority MP Gela Chavleishvili told Report News Agency.
Chavleishvili said that all possible efforts are being exerted to save the young people stranded in the mountain.
"We have not yet found them, but they have contacted us. They have reached rescuers, but their location has so far proved unreachable. A huge dam has prevented the rescuers from arriving at the location. I have no information regarding the deceased man. Presumably, they were four, with three of them reaching us," Chavleishvili said.
Search and rescue operations have been underway since morning.
Emergency Management Service received a notification saying that a citizen froze to death in the mountain, with the other three stranded there.
