As a Georgian Dream youth organization representative, Giorgi Chakvetadze initiated the public to applaud the Georgian army from the balconies.
He says the public should thank the army this way at night of May 26, Georgia’s Independence Day.
He adds that Georgia’s national guard celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2021, and this is why Independence Day will be marked in a distinguished manner this year.
In addition to the public applaud, the other event will be making a ‘corridor of unity’ to thank heroes and veterans.
“I call on everybody to join the initiative,’’ Chakvetadze said.
