According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in the first eight months of the current year, Georgia sold 2,085.2 tons of live cattle to Azerbaijan. In monetary terms, the export of this product amounted to 3,667.1 thousand US dollars.
The cargo was transported by road under trademark 0102. Exports were made in all months of the current year except for April and May.
422.1 tons of sheep and goats worth 1 007.8 thousand dollars were transported from Georgia to the neighboring country by road in July and August under trademark 0104.
As for poultry exports, Georgia sold 4.2 tons of live poultry worth 32.4 thousand US dollars in Azerbaijan in the first eight months under trademark 0105.
