As reported by the Union of Oil Importers of Georgia, the aviation oil imports included 3,0 thousand tonnes in May 2020.
The rate exceeds the April indicator by 2000 GEL or 200% and lags behind the 2019 same period rate by 9,0 thousand tonnes, i.e., by 75%.
Georgia imported 90% ((2,7 thousand tonnes) of the aviation oil from Turkmenistan while it received 10% (0,3 thousand tonnes) from Turkey.
The aviation fuel imports included 22,4 thousand tonnes in January – May 2020, and it is 47,9% less than it was in Jan – May 2019.
77,2% (17,3 thousand tonnes) was imported from Turkmenistan in Jan – May 2020, while Georgia received 12,9% from Turkey, 9,8% from Romania, and 0,1% from Egypt.
