''Belarus shows interest in the diversification of goods imported from the Belarus market via Georgia, sent to other countries, or export of the goods to Belarus via the Black Sea port infrastructure,'' Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava said today.
She held a meeting with Belarussian PM Syarhey Mikalayevich Rumas today.
The parties discussed the issues of deepening trade-economic relations between the two countries.
According to Natia Turnava, Georgia may benefit both parties as a logistic hub.
The Georgian government also offered the Belarussian one to conduct joint products in the ports of Georgia.
''We offer Belarus to discuss the issue of construction of joint terminals, storages, and logistic hubs… it will further intensify our trade and transport relations,'' Turnava added.
A delegation of Georgia, headed by Economic Minister Natia Turnava is paying a two-day visit in Minsk, Belarus.
