The government will create an exclusive platform headed by the Business Ombudsman to coordinate business initiatives in terms of social responsibilities.
''Some companies acted in bad faith as they tried to take advantage of the current situation and receive additional profit and income,'' PM Giorgi Gakharia said, adding that there also are many exemplary cases of social responsibility and solidarity.
Business Ombudsman Mikheil Daushvili will hold the first meeting in the new platform format to coordinate the business initiatives within the framework of social responsibility.
''The platform will ensure more efficient collaboration, aimed at to overcome the challenge and crisis as shortly as possible in collaboration with our citizens,'' Giorgi Gakharia said.
