According to them, the oil capacity of Kulevi ports is 10 million tons per year. It turns out that the port is not even 20% full.

The oil terminal of the Azerbaijani company "SOCAR" is located in the port of Kulevi. SOCAR has been investing in the Georgian economy since 2006, creating thousands of new jobs. Currently, Kulevi Oil Terminal, gas distribution network, and gas stations operate in Georgia.

In the first half of last year, SOCAR traffic in the port of Kulevi increased. In the first half of 2020, the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR processed 890,000 tons of oil products at the Black Sea oil terminal. During this period, in the first half of 2020, oil did not enter from the Kulevi port, although this port carried more than 890 thousand tons of Azerbaijani oil products.

From May 2008 to July 1, 2020, more than four million tons of raw materials and more than 22.8 million tons of oil products were handled in the port of Kulevi.
