The CEC has held a briefing before the second round of Georgia's parliamentary elections. Natia Ioseliani, a representative of the CEC and interim speaker, said that all preventive measures ensuring the protection of voters against coronavirus had been taken.

"On 21 November, a total of 1,941 electoral precincts and nine special polling stations will be available for voters.

For in-patient care and isolated voters, 80 special precincts will be functioning.

The total number of voters stand at 2,140,210. Despite pandemics, voting is safe since all preventive measures have been taken. I also appeal to different parties involved in the elections to ensure peaceful election environment," Ioseliani said.
