Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava says that the Fitch company's decision confirms that investors think Georgia's economy rapidly revives.
She says Georgia's efficient strategy of combating the novel coronavirus is why the investors feel more and more comfortable.
''We have many problems, but the Fitch decision on leaving the sovereign credit rating of Georgia unchanged, reconfirms that the investors, including foreign and local ones, think the same,'' Natia Turnava said, adding that the Georgian economy will resume shortly.
The Fitch credit rating agency left Georgia's sovereign credit rating unchanged, i.e., at the BBC level.
The rating prospect has not changed, as well.
