''The large-scale and strategic projects like the second phase of Shah Deniz and TANAP are significant as they represent the regional projects of the century,'' Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava said.
She said the projects support a higher safety level in the country and influence each resident's financial condition as well.
Minister Turnava said the pipeline passes more than six cubic meters of natural gas, adding that if the pipeline expands, the gas volume will increase four times.
''Thus, the quota we receive due to our transit gas and hub function will increase shortly,'' she said.
Turnava stated that Georgia will have affordable gas as a result.
''We can tell the population that the gas tariff will not increase for the nearest three years, and we also saw a symbolic reduction,'' Turnava added.
Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava also stated that the government ensures to supply 85% of the country with natural gas.
