As Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava has said 3,500 jobs will be created in next two years in the most well-paid and prospective fields.
Turnava stated it at the strategy and action plan presentation ceremony held by the Investment Department of ‘Produce in Georgia’.
She said the 2019 third quarter results of direct foreign investments are ‘very hopeful’.
‘The volume of the re-invested profit has factually doubled,’ Turnava has added.
Minister Natia Turnava also declared that the average annual rate of the direct foreign investments has increased 35% for last seven years.
‘All this means that the investors trust in Georgian economy more and more but it does not allow us to be satisfied. We will do everything to strengthen positive trends in 2020. This is why we have elaborated a new proactive strategy to attract investors in two years and increase the flow of direct foreign investments. As a result of the strategy 3,500 jobs will be created with more other benefits in the following two years,’ Natia Turnava has said.
