“I promised Abastumani residents that I would buy them electric cars. We will use electric cars even for the municipal services”, Bidzina Ivanishvili, Chairman of the Georgian Dream said in an interview with Entrepreneur Georgia. The leader of the ruling party noted that the launch of the Tskaltubo project was driven by positive experience in Abastumani.
“Georgian business has responded positively to my activism. 5 new high-end hotels are being built alongside Paragraph Resort, Rooms Hotel, Radisson Hotels, Crowne Plaza, and two REDIX Hotels. 8 medium and small sized hotels and apartments are also being built. Restoration of unique baths has already begun, with cafes, restaurants and shopping areas built. The total investment of Abastumani reached GEL 1.5 billion”, Ivanishvili said.
According to him, by 2021 only electric vehicles will operate in the Region.
