At the initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, a tourist route has been launched on the Enguri Dam in Georgia. Tourist companies and representatives of different media outlets attended the opening ceremony.
The Energy Development Fund called Enguri Tourist Center laid the foundation for the project. So far, the Enguri HPP has been unavailable for tourists. However, starting from today, visitors will be enabled to cover a 2-hour route unimpededly.
Today, guests inspected the dam bridge, tunnel, circular shields' building, and other interesting areas.
The Center for Science and Discoveries is also set to be founded within the framework of the project.
