External trade flow increases by 2.7% in Georgia

As reported by the National Office of Statistics of Georgia, the external trade flow rate hit 12 834.7 million USD in 2019 in Georgia without nondeclared trade.

The rate exceeds the previous year's indicator with 2.7%.

The exports reached 3 771.5 million USD, while imports hit 9 063.2 million USD.

The 2019 negative trade balance reached 5 291.8 million USD that included 41.2% of the external trade.

As per the data of Geostat, in 2019, the negative trade balance decreased by 470 million USD and reached 5, 291 billion USD. The rate includes 41.2% of the external trade.

The rate was 46,1% in 2018.
