"The information spread is part of a lie and fraudulent scheme. Using it, unidentified persons try to extort money from citizens by fraud. SOCAR did not offer customers to invest in the company at any stage of operation in Georgia. The video and the information published on the link do not reflect the company's position and do not correspond to the truth. Moreover,⚠ www.socar-ge.toinvest.pro ⚠ is not the official website of SOCAR, and the company has no intersection with it," the company told report.ge.
In addition to the company "SOCAR," the name of musician Nino Katamadze is also used in the spread information. Nino Katamadze confirms that she has nothing to do with the fraudulent scheme.
"By spreading this information, someone is trying to mislead the public on my behalf. The information in this article is a lie. I have never received any income other than my profession. I have never advised anyone to invest in any company. Using SOCAR and my name to transfer money is a fraud," said Nino Katamadze.
