As reported by the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, the restrictions on regular international flights will continue until October 1, 2020.
"We would like to inform you that limitations imposed on scheduled international air services have been prolonged until September 30 2020 (30.09.20). Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia has already told the air companies performing regular flights to Georgia. Restrictions do not apply to daily flights between UGTB AND EDDM, LFPG, EVRA.
The decision to renew/restore other scheduled flights will be taken based on the epidemiologic situation in Georgia and worldwide. Taking into consideration that the situation in the field of aviation cannot be actually predicted and that the decisions concerning global border and traffic limitations are periodically reviewed, we request the citizens and passengers to refrain from buying the tickets on flights in either direction until official sources publish dates of restoration of scheduled flights and flight timetables,'' reads the statement released by the agency.
