The 114th session of the International Olive Council is being held in Georgia. Today is World Olive Day. The largest trade representative of 43 countries and high-ranking officials from 18 countries visited Georgia in connection with this date. They will discuss pandemic issues and ways to address them.

The council session will last for three days.

Georgia joined the Olive Council in 2019. In 2020, the country became the chairman of the council.
