In January-September of 2021, Georgia increased imports of gasoline and diesel fuel from Azerbaijan.
According to the Union of Petroleum Importers, 168.5 thousand tons of fuel were imported from Azerbaijan to Georgia during the reporting period.
Compared to the previous year, the growth of gasoline and diesel fuel imports from Azerbaijan amounted to 19.7%.
At the same time, Azerbaijan has become the largest supplier of diesel fuel to the country. Azerbaijan accounts for 41.2% of Georgia's total diesel fuel imports.
