Turkish resort Antalya will host an annual aviation forum CONNECT 2020 on February 19 – 21.

Aviation field employees from more than 50 countries will take part in the forum that dates back 17 years already.

The United Airports of Georgia will participate in the forum on behalf of Georgia.

A total of 2,600 meetings and 19 exhibitions will be held as part of the forum.

As Tamar Archuadze, Director of the United Airports of Georgia, says similar forums are essential.

''On the sidelines of the forum, we will hold meetings with our partners operating in Georgian airports. We will also meet with other leading European airport and air company officials. We will hold presentations on the three Georgian airports to attract more and more airline companies,'' Archuadze said.

CONNECT represents a large-scale international event, held annually in different European countries.

In 2018, Georgia hosted the aviation forum, which celebrated its 15th anniversary.
