As Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava stated today, the confidence shown by the Georgian business sector and society caused high economic growth in 2019.
Turnava summarized the 2019 economic outcomes at a briefing today, saying the economic growth was higher than expected.
Under the preliminary results, the economic growth reached 3.8% in December 2019, while the average growth equaled 5.2%.
According to Natia Turnava, Georgia faced different challenges, but the business sector remained confident in it.
''The business sector is rapidly developing, taking courageous steps,'' she said.
She said the outcomes make us hopeful for 2020 to be positive.
