Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia says that Georgia's right action caused the Fitch company's evaluation during the crisis.
He made this statement as Fitch company has left Georgia's sovereign rating unchanged, at the BB level.
He says the maintenance of the Fitch rating is a strong message for the investors, meaning that Georgia's economy is healthy and can revive rapidly.
''The combat with the crisis is the best way to continue the structural economic reforms that allow us to overcome the crisis and use it as a chance for our economy,'' he says, adding that the Georgian government's primary goal is macro-economic stability.
In his words, the FITCH rating confirms the reasonable policy of the Georgian government.
''I would like to highlight that following the Fitch prognosis, we will have about 4.8% factual economic drop, while in 2021, it will increase by about 4.5%,'' he said, reiterating that along with the post-crisis economic growth Georgia should enjoy the best positions.
