As Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the interagency council session today, the government will cover the communal taxes of the Georgian population for the upcoming three months.
In his words, the allowance will apply to the families, consuming less than 200 kWh electricity and 200 cubic meters of gas.
''The government will fully pay the communal taxes in March, April, and May,'' he said.
The cleaning service and water supply fees will also be paid.
''We understand it is not enough, but we are to identify every single person, having lost his or her job, and afterward, we will take special measures of assistance,'' PM Gakharia said.
