As the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports, the average monthly salary increased in Georgia, but Statistic Expert Soso Archvadze strictly refuses the data.
He says the salaries have not increased at all, and the employment structure regrouping influenced the wages level.
Soso Archvadze told report.ge that the change was observed due to the exclusion of people with low incomes.
''Business and social sector remained most competitive and active amidst the crisis,'' he says, adding the small and average business sector fired its employees and average salary decreased.
''It caused a regroup of the employment structure, and salaries of those with average and high incomes increased,'' he said, adding that there is nothing to boast.
Yesterday, the National Statistics Office reported that the average monthly nominal salary increased in the first quarter of 2020 in Georgia.
