With the Partnership Fund of Georgia, Startup Georgia and USAID Zrda Project, the construction of a Kombucha natural drink production facility begins in Karapila, Kaspi Municipality, in the vicinity of the 'administrative border' with Russia-occupied Tskhinvali region.
As the Partnership Fund reports, the construction was laid a foundation today, and a symbolic capsule was put in the basement.
The Kombucha drink can improve an immune system and is suitable for health.
Partnership Fund Executive Director Davit Saganelidze, US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly C. Degnan participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of a new Kombucha production facility in the village of Karapila.

''Ambassador Degnan was joined by Shida Kartli Governor Giorgi Khojevanishvili, as well as partners from USAID, the JSC Partnership Fund, and Startup Georgia, and the private investors and business owners,'' the US Embassy reports.
The new joint initiative of Start-Up Georgia and USAID Zrda Activity aims to enable the population of villages along the occupation line to embark on the innovative business and create more enterprises and jobs locally.
