CEO of the SOCAR Energy Georgia Company Mahir Mammadov transferred 25,000 GEL to the Georgian StopCov fund to combat the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The SOCAR Georgia Company contributed 200,000 GEL to the fund earlier, on March 27.
The StopCov fund has accumulated 24,200.000 GEL.
Both natural persons and legal entities can donate to the fund.
The Georgian government and MPs from the parliamentary majority decided to transfer 1/3 of their salaries to the fund.
Georgia's Prosecutor General and his deputies have also joined the trend.
