As the National Bank of Georgia reports, on June 1, 2020, the volume of non-bank deposits totaled 28.22 billion GEL, which is 636.68 million GEL (2.31) more than the data of May 1, 2020 (the effect of the exchange rate (+ 2.62%) is not considered).

In May, the volume of term deposits increased by 490.18 million GEL or 3.92% (excluding the effect of the exchange rate + 4.38%).

The volume of demand deposits increased by 146.50 million GEL or 0.97% (excluding the effect of the exchange rate + 1.17%).

As of June 1, 2020, the deposit larization rate reached 35.92%.

As of May 1, 2020, the deposit larization increased by 1.57% (without the exchange rate of +1.46%).

In May 2020, the average weighted market interest rate on term deposits amounted to 7.02%.
