Georgia is an immensely important economic partner for Azerbaijan, according to Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov. In his words, different companies of Azerbaijan are carrying out investments in Georgia's economy.
"At the meeting, we focused on the current projects and economic cooperation prospects in order to increase investments and ensure harmonization of our national economies to make our markets more attractive for national and foreign investments," Jabbarov stressed at the meeting with Natia Turnava, Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The parties also discussed projects being implemented in energy, export, import, transportation sector, investment projects, and commercial relations.
Natia Turnava has paid a two-day working visit to Azerbaijan, and tomorrow she plans to participate in the plenary session called South Gas Corridor: Achievements and Challenges.
