The money transfers received by Georgia in April 2020 reached 79.1 mln USD (250.8 mln GEL) that is less by 42.3% (58.0 mln USD) than the same indicator of April 2019.
As the National Bank of Georgia reports, 89.6% of the transfers are from 12 largest partners of Georgia, from which the same rate exceeded one mln USD in April 2019.
A total of 89% of the money was sent from the same 12 partners in April 2019.
Russia, Spain, and France top the countries with the lowest money transferred to Georgia.
A total of 10 mln USD was transferred abroad from Georgia in April 2020.
The rate lags behind the April 2019 indicator, with 47.7%.
