On September 15, 2021, the Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Georgia decided to leave the refinancing rate unchanged. The monetary policy rate is 10.0 percent.
"The National Bank of Georgia monitors the current economic processes and financial markets continuously and will use all the tools at its disposal to ensure price stability," mentions the information spread by the National Bank.
The next meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee will be held on October 27, 2021.
