With the support of the state, Khornabuji Ltd. has built a new refrigerating plant equipped according to modern standards in Tsnori. A total of 1,500,000 GEL was invested in the construction of the plant. The company employs 10 locals permanently. The new refrigerator plant is of 360-ton fruit and vegetable stocking capacity.
Ilia Tamarashvili, Director of Agriculture Development Agency and Irakli Kadagishvili, Kakheti regions Governor together with representatives of local self-government visited the company and watched the production process.
The government will support the company to implement International Food Safety Standard – HACCP in 2020.
According to the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture there are 74 new companies open in Kakheti region in the framework of the United Agro Project.
