After a sudden drop in oil prices last week, the value of "black gold" has risen again.
Brent January futures rose by 3.41%, $ 75.2 a barrel.
Meanwhile, WTI January futures rose by 4.34%, $ 71.11 a barrel.
Over the past week, the drop in oil prices was prompted by the discovery of a new strain of the coronavirus, Omicron, in South Africa. Oil traders fear that more countries may tighten quarantine restrictions.
Several countries have started selling oil from national reserves.
