Negotiations between Georgia and Azerbaijan on the restoration of passenger rail traffic continue. The director of the Georgian Railway, Davit Peradze, said in an interview with Forbes magazine.
According to him, the exact date of resumption of passenger train traffic between Baku and Tbilisi will be announced later.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the movement of passenger trains between the capitals of Georgia and Azerbaijan was suspended from March 14, 2020.
