According to the TBC Capital weekly economic review, on November 16-22, annual remittances from Azerbaijan to Georgia doubled, and the increase equaled 203% on November 9-15.
From Russia, annual remittance inflows dropped by 20%, whereas from the Middle East, including Turkey, an upward trend was noticed on November 16-22.
From Armenia, annual remittances went down by 34 percent. If compared to the previous week, remittance inflows increased on November 16-22, with overall annual remittances growing by 10 %.
Remittance inflows from Ukraine, North America, the EU, and the UK continue to trend upwards.
