The share of the oil and gas sector in foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan increased in the first quarter of 2021, Azerbaijani media writes.
The volume of foreign direct investment in the economy of Azerbaijan amounted to 1 400.9 million US dollars, which is 17.9% more compared to the same period last year.
In the first quarter of 2021, the share of the oil and gas sector in investments was 89.2%, 9.2 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
