The amendments to the regulation on the issuance of loans to natural entities will apply to mortgage loans.
As reported by the National Bank of Georgia, the maximum term of the mortgage loans issued in Georgia's national currency lari will increase from 15 to 20 years.
Under another amendment, in case of having an income from abroad, the loan securing requirement will decrease by 70%.
The amendments to the regulation will enforce on April 15, 2020.
