With the initiative of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia and the Regional Administration of Racha-Lechkhumi-Kvemo Svaneti a meeting was held in Ambrolauri between the wine producers and local winemakers.
“It was agreed between wine producers and local winemakers that the price of good quality Khvanchkara varieties, Alexandreuli and Mujuretuli will cost GEL 7. Solomon Pavliashvili, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia noted that he would not interfere the process of price regulation, though he would be actively involved in the logistics and management process” reads the statement.
