The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia's Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has completed the construction of the Vani Museum and renovated its area.
Georgian Minister of Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili visited the museum and stated that the town of Vani needed a museum complex of modern standards.
''The new museum complex will host visitors from summer,'' she said.
"I hope it will be attractive for Georgians and other tourists in the post-pandemic period, and once the country is ready to open tourist season in July, the National Museum staff will meet them with the new exposition,'' Vice PM Maia Tskitishvili said.
The World Bank financed the project of the value of 20 mln GEL.
The Vani Museum was renovated for the first time since 1985.
