As the National Statistics Office reports, Georgia exported vehicles of $14.45 million abroad, which is $45.8 million (76%) less than in the same period of 2019.

Reports say that in July 2020, the export of vehicles to Azerbaijan decreased by 63%.

As for Ukraine, the export dropped by 97%, while this indicator reached 99% to Armenia.

In recent years, the re-export of vehicles from Georgia developed rapidly.

In 2019, exports increased by 68% and reached $686.7 million.

As of official statistical data, the economic crisis caused by COVID-19 has significantly contributed to the vehicles' re-export data.
