During her visit, Natia Turnava met with the Minister of Transport and Communications of Qatar, Jassim Saif Ahmed al-Suleit.
The Qatari side showed interest in finding a more diversified transport route via Silk Road.
According to Natia Turnava, the Georgian side proposed various ways to join its corridor to Qatar.
She says the Qatar government wants to use land routes and port infrastructure of Georgia and enjoy the shipping of goods through the Black Sea.
''Besides, Qatar shows interest in involvement in logistic projects and development of logistic services,'' she said.
''We had a very positive dialogue,'' Natia Turnava added.
The parties also discussed the intensification of flights between the countries. In particular, seasonal Doha-Batumi flights.
