World oil prices are falling again after a corrective growth session. According to investors, the reason for this is the data of the American Petroleum Institute (API), according to which oil reserves in the US have increased.

Brent oil futures for September delivery fell 0.76% to $ 68.82 a barrel.

WTI September futures fell 0.79% to $ 66.67 a barrel.

On July 19, oil prices fell by almost 7-7.5%, and on Tuesday rose by 1-1.5%.

According to the API, commercial oil stocks in the United States increased by 0.8 million barrels to 438.4 million barrels during the week. Official statistics on commercial oil stocks will be published today.

OPEC + countries have reached a compromise on oil production.

The parties agreed that from August, oil production would increase by 400 thousand barrels per day. Consequently, countries will reach pre-crisis levels by the end of 2022.
